COOKEVILLE, TN – On Wednesday, August 18, 2010 just before 9 a.m. a train derailed in Cookeville, TN due to flash flooding in the area. Four rail cars derailed in the incident. The train was operated by the Nashville and Eastern Railroad Corporation.
