HENDERSON COUNTY, KY – A semi truck driver was killed in Henderson County, KY on October 9, after a CSX train crashed into his big rig as the trucker was crossing the tracks. Henderson County is located in the northwest on the border with Evansville, Illinois.
The accident happened around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, October 9, at the Crooked Rd rail crossing near U.S. Highway 60, about half way between Spottsville and Reed and about 12.7 miles northeast of the city of Henderson, KY.
The deceased trucker was identified as Terry Clark, 69 years old, from Corydon, KY.
Clark was heading north across the tracks on his way to a farm with soybeans in the trailer when the crash occurred with a westbound train.
The accident is currently under investigation.
